L07: N.B.R. Berwick locomotive

The Berwick kit is a collaboration with John Hardie of Scottish Scale Loco Works who originally produced the locomotive as a ready-to-run model but never in kit form. The chassis is in 18/1000 Nickel Silver and the body in 15/1000 brass. The kit is supplied with all castings, handrail knobs, bearings, handrail wire, glazing and electrical wire etc. The buffers have turned brass shanks with fully sprung steel heads of the correct diameter and there are many lost wax brass castings including tender axlebox and springs, brake standard, clack valves, non-lifting injectors, ramsbottom safety valve, regulator handle, sandbox filler lids (2), smokebox blower valve, smokebox door handle, steam keys, tallow cups, tender brake standard, tender fire iron carriers, tender water tank isolator valve, washout plugs, westinghouse pipes, westinghouse pump and a whistle. The remaining whitemetal castings include backhead, cab dials, chimney, dome, smokebox door, piano front and tender filler lid. The kit also comes with a set of complimentary transfers (TR001) and etched number plates.

However, please note that there are NO instructions to this kit at the present time and so it is sold on these terms.
